Written in 1914, this is one of Fucik's last
marches. As the name implies, it features
regimental trumpet signals superimposed over
the march melody. This 2002 edition for symphonic
band, with full and condensed scores, Horns in F, Bass Clarinet,
Timpani in oncert format, would be a noteworthy addition to any band
concert.

a new life" as an independent nation
at the end of World War I. This work was
also featured in the opening ceremonies of
